Hi, I’m Chad, the founder of Optimized FR. As a paramedic and flight paramedic with over 20 years’ experience, I have experienced all the highs and lows of being a first responder, along with the long hours and weeks that turn into months. I’ve struggled with all the common issues: poor sleep and diet, mental health issues, or relationship issues stemming from all the above. It’s not an easy life, but I have learned a lot along the way. Throughout the years I have been obsessed with optimizing with supplements, nutrition, and exercise. I have definitely not been perfect and I have stumbled and fallen on many occasions. But, I keep getting back up and dusting myself off. In the process of being a supplement junkie, I have found many things that work and what doesn’t. I pour through research and have tested and continue to put the pieces together, but over the years the goals have changed. When I was younger, it was all about being small and trying to get jacked. As time has gone on, it has morphed into being strong mentally as well as physically, aging well, and being overall healthy so I can be around for my daughter for a while. I have taken this culmination of experience to form Optimized FR, a brand for first responders to elevate their health and wellness to the next level.
